Homeowners Associations, especially those that don't have paid staff to run their day-to-day operations, are always shorthanded.  Caroline Oaks falls into this category.  While our financial affairs are handled by Cardinal Management Group, there are many chores that we do ourselves.  Maintaining this website, editing our Newsletter and maintaining its e-mail list, answering resident's questions, preparing disclosure document packages, and day-to-day vendor relations are just a few examples of the tasks done by our Board members.  We could outsource these tasks to a management company but it would be expensive and would result in a much higher quarterly assessment.  As with many HOAs, Caroline Oaks relies on volunteers to do these chores.  Over the years we have been blessed by having a group of selfless individuals willing to pitch in and help.  Looking ahead, it is not hard to envision a time that we will need people that can fill spots when people move away.  If you would like to help, let us know.

Caroline Oaks executed a contract with Dominion Towing to give homeowners/tenants a way of removing cars parked illegally in their RESERVED parking spaces. If a vehicle is illegally parked in your reserved space, you can contact Dominion Towing at 703 730-1177. You will have to be present when the tow truck arrives since you will have to sign the paperwork authorizing the tow.  Caroline Oaks is not a party in this action. It is between you and the towing service.  For this reason, if you have a problem with illegally parked cars do not call the Association; call Dominion Towing.  This policy concerns RESERVED parking spaces only.  Towing for other parking violations is the responsibility of the HOA.  If you have any questions about the towing policy, please feel free to contact the HOA at the home page.
